Kai Florian Furch is a partner in the Berlin office. He provides comprehensive advice on transactions, negotiations and litigations for national and international companies in all matters pertaining to IP and Media & Entertainment law as well as IT law. His client base mostly consists of companies from the Film & TV, Entertainment and Games industries as well as Social Media-, Online- and Advertising Agencies.

Kai Florian Furch is lecturing law for games producers at the Games Academy since 2015.

Before joining BREHM & von MOERS as Partner of the Berlin office he was Managing Partner of a Berlin based Media Law firm from 2011 to 2017.

In 2007 he worked for the German Federal Film Board (FFA). In 2011/12 he gained additional experience as inhouse lawyer at VG Media, a German colleting society (in the field of copyright and related rights applicable to satellite broadcasting and cable retransmission rights).   

In his early career he gained further international experience in the offices of Mitchell, Silberberg and Knupp LLP, Los Angeles in 2008 and at Denman Chambers, Sydney in 2001.

Kai Florian Furch has been tutor and guest lecturer for various German universities and academies for more than 15 years.

Kai Florian Furch also gained further experience as CEO of a music label between 2010 and 2015. Prior to and parallel to his early law studies he worked as (assistant) location manager for German film and TV productions.
